Christians in the Marketplace: What would it Look Like if God Was Running the Show?

“What would it look like if God was running this show?”
N. T. Wright has written that each follower of Jesus should ask, “What would it look like if God was running this show?” This retreat will explore the implications of that question when asked in the messy middle of the marketplace.

The focus will be on leaders and spouses called to be entrepreneurs, business and organizational executives, managers in corporate life, or stewards of small or family businesses. Jeff Van Duzer and Tod Bolsinger will offer “context, commentary, and conversation” on living out the wonderful story of God’s reign as we explore the challenges and opportunities of being part of God’s transforming purpose from within the marketplace.

Tod Bolsinger
Tod is Senior Pastor of San Clemente Presbyterian Church in San Clemente, California, since 1997. Previously he served for ten years at First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. Tod earned his Ph.D. in Theology and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. He speaks and consults with church, organizational, and business leadership groups with TAG Consulting.

The author of two books, It Takes a Church to Raise a Christian and Showtime, Tod also teaches at Fuller Seminary and Denver Seminary. His wife, Beth, is a marriage and family counselor in private practice and they have two teenage children, Brooks and Ali.
