Laity Lodge Retreat with Buddy Greene and Rodney Reeves

Laity Lodge

Type: Open Retreat

Lodge: $390

Black Bluff: $465

The good news of reconciliation–with God and with our neighbor–is a reality of the kingdom  of God that Jesus spoke and lived while on earth. Although the Gospel’s ministry of such reconciliation is preached and practiced from Mississippi to Cape Town, from Dublin to the Middle East, enmity between people still arouses conflict of apartheid, war, and genocide.

Come join Buddy Greene, New Testament scholar Rodney Reeves, special musical guests, Odessa Settles, Ashley Cleveland, and others in a conversation about relationships inspired by Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Personal stories, and songs from hymnody, black gospel, folk, and popular music will outline our question, “Is the good news of reconciliation our reality today?”
