Soundings in Ephesians
A half century ago, Dr. Packer made his debut visit to Laity Lodge. He spoke on one of his favorite books, Ephesians. He will return to Ephesians this weekend after having found “some fresh things to say about it,” discoveries such as: great grace, one people, a new lifestyle, and going armed.
J. I. Packer
Dr. Packer is Board of Governors’ Professor of Theology at Regent College, Vancouver, BC. The author of Knowing God, he was selected by Time as one of The 25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America..
Composers and musicians James Hall, Evan Mazunik, and Taylor Jackson join forces to form a jazz trio for the weekend. The musicians and music genre were chosen to honor Dr. Packer, his love for jazz, and his nearly half of a century of keynote speaking at Laity Lodge.
