The spiritual life is not a straight line, like time’s proverbial arrow. The Christian life is marked by times and seasons, rhythms of ebb and flow. Like the tempo of creation itself, or the rhythms of the liturgical calendar, a lifetime following Jesus means we will find ourselves in seasons that feel fallow, other times that teem with abundance. Day follows night; spring’s resurrection follows dormant winter. Discerning when we are can be liberating.
Drawing from scripture, Jamie Smith and Beth Moore will speak honestly and personally from their own lives—allowing their stories to open all of us up to the rhythms of grace.
