Previously unreleased, this performance of Andrew Peterson, Andy Gullahorn, Buddy Greene, and Jeff Taylor was captured during the first winter of Box Canyon filming in early 2014. The evident sense of unrehearsed collaboration continues to ring true to the spirit of both the Box Canyon project and the retreats taking place just across the Frio River at Laity Lodge. As we wrote at the time: “Bringing friends together, being receptive to a place, learning something new, and maybe just winging it … these are some consistent ingredients in our retreat planning process.” They are also the same ingredients that continue to animate the Box Canyon. Long relegated to the cutting room floor, “Let There Be Light” finally sees the light of day.
