Community in Creation

How might our encounters with the non-human world renew our Christian faith and practice? What forms of community does God intend between human beings and the created order that He instructed them “to till and to keep”? In this retreat, we will seek answers to these questions by examining art, poetry, and theology that engages with the splendor of creation. Drawing on their experiences in regenerative agriculture, literary criticism, theology, and pastoral care, Jack, Goodie and Corey will help us hear what our lands and waters might be saying to the church today. At the center of our conversations together will be Christ, the Word-made-flesh, who became a creature so that all creation might be made new.
