“O Heavenly Father,
of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, Be present at Laity Lodge, that all who enter there, being kindly cared for, may find it a haven of blessing and of peace. Sanctify the buildings for your glory, for everything in heaven and on earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the dominion, and you are exalted as head above all.
O eternal God,
mighty in power and of incomprehensible majesty, whom the heavens cannot contain, much less buildings made by hands, you have promised your special presence whenever two or three are assembled in your name. By the power of your Holy Spirit, bless and sanctify all that is done at the Lodge, that it may be holy for those who serve there and a house of blessing for all people.
Guide and empower the meditation on your Word, the pouring out of prayer, the singing of your praise, testimonies of your grace, and wonder at the beauty of your creation.
Save us from that failure of vision which would confine our worship and witness within the walls of Laity Lodge, but send each person out to be your servants in the world, sharing the blessings of Christ in every place.
Give your blessing to all who share the Lodge, that they may be knit together in true fellowship here upon earth, and finally may be joined in the communion of thy saints in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
