Today crews poured the foundation for what will become the Main Cabin at Cedar Brake. This building acts as a sort of hub for the site and will include a kitchen, dining and meeting spaces, generous porches and two residency units.
Ultimately Cedar Brake will consist of four buildings: a triplex, two duplexes, and this Main Cabin. The triplex and one of the duplexes are already in place and visible in the photos below. And while it is being specifically tailored to host micro-retreats of fewer than 20 guests, Cedar Brake will continue to function as regular retreat housing from week to week.
